Here Is What OThers are saying:

This study has refined the way I see my journey with the Lord.

I just love the drinking in the concept that our Christian life is a journey or pilgrimage. It helps when things get rough. I now think, “This is part of the journey.”

This study has been so good for my walk with the Lord.

“Blessed are those whose strength is in You, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.”  Psalm 84:5

ARE YOU READY TO START YOUR NEXT BIBLE STUDY – ONE THAT WILL HELP YOU BUILD A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE FOR THE JOURNEY OF LIFE, STIR A PASSION FOR GROWING CLOSER TO THE LORD, AND ALLOW HIM TO WORK IN YOU AND THROUGH YOU?

How to start

Watch the Introduction Video.  The video below will set up the theme of this Bible study.

Buy the Book on Amazon.  Both Kindle and Paperback are available, but most people want to write out their answers, so the paperwork book is the best way to go (in our opinion).

Get Into the Word and Start the Study. With 5 weeks of daily workbook lessons (5 per week) and 6 weekly teaching videos (free access online), we are trusting God to stretch and grow your faith in amazing ways.

Dear friend,

We are guessing you are here because you want a fresh perspective for the road the Lord wants to take you down.  Maybe you focus too much on the short term and not enough on the big picture of God’s purpose for your life.  Maybe you need to open your eyes to the way the Lord wants you to grow in your faith and trust of Him.  Do you need some encouragement in the Lord’s intention for your spiritual walk?  In order for this to happen, you need to develop a biblical understanding of journey and discover how the Lord wants to work in you and through you.

That’s why we are coming alongside you for a look at the idea of journeying with God and what it means to have “a heart set on pilgrimage” (Psalm 84:5).  Here is how it works:  first, watch the Introduction video below.  Second, use the link to buy A Heart for Journey on Amazon.  Third, start the study.  There are five weeks of daily workbook lessons and six weekly video lessons with Kristen (including the introduction).  All videos are all freely accessible online with an email address.

So what are you waiting for?  Grab the book so you can stop thinking about renewing your mindset and start walking this journey of life with purpose, hope, and confidence in our faithful God.

FAQ

How long will it take each day? Most women have found that the workbook lessons take 15-25 minutes each day.  There are five lessons per week. An important part of this study is the weekly teaching videos.  These range from 11-30 minutes.  (Introduction Video is 11 minutes long.)

What does the study cover?  During the first week, we will look at Psalm 84 to discover what the psalmist meant as he wrote, “Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.”  In studying this psalm, we will learn about the author, context, and situation of the psalmist.  In the following weeks, we will continue to explore what it means to have a heart for journey by looking at Ezra and Nehemiah.  We will look at the importance of community with Solomon, Ruth, and Paul.  We will develop a heart for others as we study Jonah.  We will talk about fear, perseverance, and finally, the glorious road home.  The study starts with an Introduction Video and then after each week of workbook lessons, there is a video lesson that relates to or adds to the week.  You’ll find the study flows together very well.

How do I access the videos?  Visit www.KristenTiber.com/AHeartForJourneyVideos to subscribe for access.  There is no cost.  You will just need to enter your email address and then can bookmark the page for future access.  You can unsubscribe from our list at any time but we hope you’ll stay for more encouragement, teaching and fun.

Can I do this study alone?  Yes, you most certainly can.  This study can be done individually or with a group.  (We do love groups because of the added benefits of sharing life and knowledge, growing together, and for the accountability they provide.)

Does my church need to buy expensive videos?  No, they do not.  All videos are free at www.KristenTiber.com/AHeartForJourneyVideos.  Please subscribe for access and then bookmark the page.  This also means that if a group member has to miss a week, she won’t miss the teaching and can catch up by watching the video online herself.

I want to take a group through this study.  What do I need to know? This is great!  We love when women grow together and learn from each other.  At the end of the workbook, you will find instructions for taking a group through the study.  We also marked questions within each day’s lesson as questions you can discuss during your group time.  Some studies list the questions to discuss in the back of the book, but we have found that very awkward when having to flip back and forth while leading.  This way, you can see everything you need to see at the right time.  We also give worship song suggestions on the same webpage as the videos if your group is able to spend some time in worship together.
