WELCOME!
Kristen is a Child of God, Follower of Jesus – Saved by his grace, and a forever student of His Word
Kristen Tiber is an author, Bible teacher, and conversational speaker who shares from the context of Scripture with clarity, warmth, and enthusiasm. She loves helping women see the beauty of who God is and what He can do, enlarging their vision of Him so they walk away strengthened in their identity in Christ and confident in their faith.
While Kristen loves teaching God’s Word, she is just as passionate about being a lifelong student of it. Her heart is to see Scripture ignite fresh understanding and real transformation, encouraging women to live faithful, fruitful lives that lift high the name of Jesus.
Whether she is writing or sharing about the transforming power of Scripture, the secret to an abiding life, or a topic tailored to your event, Kristen’s messages leave women refreshed, encouraged, and inspired to take their next step with the Lord.
Kristen holds a degree in Christian Thought and Christian Ministry. She is married to her husband, Dan, and homeschools their two teenagers, Peter and Anna. She is the author of two women’s Bible studies—A Heart for the Journey and Greater Glory—and a book for Christian singles, At the Well.
The Back Story:
It is funny (and faith-building!) when I think back to the journey the Lord has taken me on over the years. I’m married to a great guy named Dan, who is a strong believer and someone who can still make me laugh after all these years. My husband and I met on a blind date in 2002. Initially, I wasn’t too excited about the idea of a blind date, but the Lord worked on my heart and two years later, Dan and I were married. We have two children, Peter and Anna, and live in Ohio.
My degree is in Christian Thought/Christian Ministry and following college, my plan was to go into youth ministry, but the Lord took me down a different path. While I led Bible studies, did volunteer youth ministry and some speaking at that point, I found myself working at a private golf club and eventually began my own wedding planning business. Even though the steps did not always make sense at the time, I knew the Lord was leading and directing.
With the birth of our children, I started backing out of wedding planning because of the complicated time commitments. As my kids were little and running around the house, I returned to my love of writing on a blog called Celebrate Every Day With Me. There, I wrote about family fun, party planning and faith. (The blog is still active, but I no longer add to the content.)
As the Lord started pulling me back into teaching, I began running Bible studies out of my home and wrote a book for Christian singles called At The Well. My next book, Greater Glory was actually a Bible study I taught at my church and then turned it into a workbook study. The same happened with my following study, A Heart for Journey.
As a family, we are in our eighth year of homeschooling. It has been such a blessing and I love it so much, despite the fact that I had never wanted to homeschool my kids. (I had actually prayed that the Lord would not call me to homeschooling!) But once again, His plan was not my own and when the kids were in third and fifth grade, we became homeschoolers. The Lord warmed my heart and led me to enter the season with joy, excitement and feeling His pleasure.
Our church is an important part of our lives. Dan and I teach the high school Sunday school class, and we really enjoy being with the teens. I have a deep love for women’s ministry and see such value in growing together with other women. I hope to write and speak more, to see the name of Jesus lifted up, and live for His glory.
Blessings to you!
